‘A net cast into the sea’: Identifying biblical metaphors using semantic domains

Metaphors play a crucial role in the language of the Bible. How can we identify and represent these metaphors? 

I will discuss the opportunities and challenges of using an existing system of semantic domains to identify words in the Greek New Testament that metaphorically map a basic to a contextual meaning.
